My work is a bricolage of textures, colors, scents, and fleeting images of the abundant ocean that I have accumulated over many years of time joyfully spent in and around the sea. Many pictures have a subjective treatment of the sea, or images that pertain to the sea that more often have a “feeling” relating to dreams, childhood trips to the ocean and time spent with family and friends near the salt and sand. It is my belief that an artist can take the viewer to the same time and sense of place that the artist experienced and captured in their work. There is a connection in every living thing through the life-force that pulses through us and connects us to life and the beauty of creation.
